Modems from aaNet
To use aaNet’s ADSL broadband services a user will need to acquire, either from aaNet or from any other source of their choice, a suitable ADSL modem. The cost of acquiring a suitable ADSL modem is not included in any aaNet line activation charge or line transfer charge and is in addition to all aaNet charges listed on other pricing pages of this web site.
aaNet place no restrictions on what brand or type of ADSL modem the user may elect to use. Similarly aaNet do not promise to help the user configure and install any modem they elect to use if it is not sourced from aaNet.
All modems sent out by aaNet are pre-configured and simply need to be plugged into the PC.
aaNet can provide five modems at great prices to its users. These are:

Open Networks 621 - Single port Ethernet and USB ADSL2+ modem $59.95

Open Networks 624 - Four port Ethernet ADSL2+ modem $79.95

Open Networks 625W - Four port Wireless ADSL2+ modem $129.95
Open Networks 824RLW - VoIP Enabled Wireless ADSL2+ modem $149.95
Open Networks ADSL2+ Inline filter - $14.95
NOTE: A $19.95 delivery charge per modem is applicable. Line Filters ship free with any modem order, but cannot be ordered seperately.
For full specifications on any Open Networks modems please visit the Open Networks Website.
Please note that the modem is purchased seperately to the internet service, and although it may be purchased at the time you order your internet service, it is not bundled, nor is it part of your internet contract. If your modem is faulty or does not work this does not entitle you to credits or rebates on your internet service.
All of these modems are shipped with one telephone line filter which is required to eliminate signal interference between a telephone voice service and a concurrently used ADSL service. If a user has more than one telephone handset connected to the telephone line to be used by the ADSL service additional line filters will be required for each handsets.
Modems provided by aaNet come with a 12 month, return to manufacturer warranty.
Please ensure someone is available to collect and sign for your modem at your nominated delivery address. If delivery is attempted and no one is available to sign for the modem the courier will leave a note in your letterbox and deliver to your nearest post office. You can choose a different delivery address when you order via the signup page.
